Amend 2023 return vis desktop product

I am trying to amend a return I filed for my daughter using the desktop product. When I open TurboTax and select 'amend a return', it does not ask for the return that has already been filed. Is there something else I need to do to start the amending process?

If you used the TurboTax desktop edition to complete and file her tax return, then when you start the TurboTax program you need to Continue her tax return.

Then click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)

Click on Other Tax Situations

Scroll down to Other Tax Forms

On Amend a return, click on the start button

When you click "Amend a Filed Return" on the first screen when you start TurboTax, the returns that you have filed are shown at the top of the screen under the heading "Amend a Tax Return You Filed This Year." You have to click on the return that you want to amend, then click the Amend button that appears on the return that you selected.

If you don't see the return that you want to amend, click "Find a Tax File" to find the .tax2023 file for the return and open it.

Desktop version did now exhibit menu items as explained, or give me a list of filed returns, or a menu item to find the returns.
