Amazon sells TurboTax software for a much cheaper price than on the TT website. Do I get the same TT support if I buy from Amazon?

Ok ... first yes the program is the same  HOWEVER make sure you are buying the same program ... the Deluxe is sold with and without the state program so be careful.    If you buy without the state and you have to buy the state later you will not save much.  

ALSO make sure you are actually buying from amazon and not an unauthorized third party seller.

It's the same product on Amazon. My mom bought it and I compared it to what I bought directly from Intuit. A savings of $45 for premier. It is crazy that I can buy it cheaper from Amazon than directly from Intuit. I asked for a refund and they refused. I guess I learned my lesson. I will never by direct from Intuit again. Poor customer service IMO

Looks like I am just now learning this too. I just assumed they would be the same price and have used the "online-Intuit" version for the past several years, since I have had my Etsy business. But now of course after I just submitted my taxes...I see that buying the desktop/turbo business and home version off Amazon etc...is much cheaper. I guess I will know for next year. Dang it!
