The first two stimulus checks should have come to you. Unfortunately, the 2020 is used to claim any missed stimulus and you would not qualify. If you wait to file 2020 until after your 3rd stimulus is received, then you would be eligible. If you file, you will not receive it.

The only way to collect any round one or two stimulus payments is via the Recovery Rebate Credit.  Your round two payment would have been based on your 2019 return which has probably not been processed yet.

NOTE: the round one and two stimulus were advances on the Recovery Rebate Credit. Since the 2020 tax filing season opened and taxpayers can claim the Recovery Rebate Credit using the 2020 returns, there is no rush for them to process the last few 2019 returns, I'm sure.

As stated above you can still qualify for the third round by not filing your 2020 return until after receiving the stimulus payment.

You apparently did not notice that there was plenty of room to ask your question in the box below the one where you tried to put it all in shorthand.   Your post is too confusing.   Please use complete sentences and explain more fully what you are trying to do or ask about.

Stimulus tax question
My AGI for the following yrs
2018 $86K Filed April 2019
2019 $67K Filed July 2020
2020 $134K Not yet filed

Stimulus checks received
Stim I $647 Dated 5/22/20. 2019 not filed yet. Amt based on 2018 (higher AGI than 2019)
Stim II $0 No status on irs.gov
Stim III TBD Should be $1,400 (based on 2019), unless 2020 filed sooner than checks mailed

Question(s)
Can I get all 3 checks based on 2019’s AGI? If so, how do I collect to $553 (Stim I shortage)?
Can I claim the $553 (Stim I underpay) & $600 (Stim II) as RRC on 2020’s tax return?
• All tax filings by mail. IRS does not have bank info for direct deposit.
• In all yrs, I owe $ to the IRS & pay (by ck) with tax return

Sorry the Recovery Rebate credit is reconciled using your 2020 AGI.  If you do not qualify for the Recovery Rebate Credit because of your 2020 tax situation then you will not be able to get the missed stimulus payment.

Hmmm, how would the IRS know what 2020 AGI is, since I haven't filed?

Any reason I wouldn't receive the 2nd EIP ($600) based on 2019's AGI, which the IRS has had since July?

IRS.gov correctly summarizes1st EIP, but has No Status on 2nd.  If 2nd is based on 2019 AGI, where's the $600 check?

Why wouldn't IRS calculate 3rd EIP on 2019, since 2020 hasn't been filed?

Using 2020's AGI to qualify for RRC seems fishy, since IRS' site says 2019 is used.  2020 EIP is only for 3rd EIP.  Shouldn't IRS.gov report "Not Eligible" if the 2nd & 3rd check were not going to be sent?

Confusing.  Since I filed taxes according to IRS's sched, why would RRC be disallowed if IRS didn't mail the checks?  Seems my only risk would be filing 2020 before checks are sent, but would only effect 3rd EIP.

Thanks.  It makes sense, but doesn't explain why the IRS missed the 2nd & (maybe) 3rd pymts, after getting the 1st correct.  I won't take the RRC on 2020's filing, but is there another way to recover the missing payments?  For example ... an amended tax filing, or writing a letter to the IRS.  I file (on time) every year, and haven't moved.  Since I filed 2019 in July, could the IRS be slow in updating its records?  Really, looking for an alternate way to collect what's legitimately owed w/o going the RRC route.

Thanks.  I owe $8K in taxes for 2020.  If EIP #2 & #3 haven't arrived by 4/15, does it make sense to file for an extension, while sending an $8K check?  Just trying to keep the window open for the IRS to process 2019's return.  Also, will the shortfall for EIP#1 be corrected?  2019's income was < 2018's ... which is what the IRS used for 1st stimulus check.

No, it would not be necessary to put your 2020 tax return on extension to wait for your 2019 tax return to be processed. The third EIP will be based upon your 2020 taxes.  The IRS may correct any shortfall for economic payments after analyzing your tax return(s).
