I have been using TT for years and this year, 2020, I have been rejected several times for the AGI. Filing mj first it was my husband's 2018 agi, corrected that and now mine has been rejected. Are the agi's not the same for both me and my spouse when filing married jointly?

The IRS uses your prior year AGI to combat fraud.
You can find your 2018 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) by:
Check these items as well to ensure you have the correct number. If you:
Time-saving Tip: If what you entered is correct and you continue to get a reject, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return.
This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.
I have been using Turbotax for years, with the AGI carried forward. Suddenly, with e-filing this year, the IRS has rejected the return because they cannot identify my wife from her AGI. We have always filed jointly. Why would the IRS have a separate AGI for last year? Is this her Social Security income? Does not make sense. Any thoughts on this?
If you filed joint return last year, your wife's AGI is the same as yours.
The AGI must match the IRS records. You can request an online transcript or a copy by mail from the IRS transcript website.
If you have the correct AGI and the IRS keeps rejecting the return, print it and mail it in.
the "last years AGI"page has stopped me dead in my tracks. I have used TT for years. This is the worst.

EXACTLY the same issue! IRS won't recognize her! )passed away Jun '19 ! Salt in the wound! AGI correct! rejected 3X (filed mj for 50+yrs!) TT issue or IRS? Wanted quick refund of WH!! Very disappointed. Is USPS the only option?
I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years without a problem until this year. My 2019 Tax Year Fed and State efile returns were rejected for AGI mismatch. I opened Turbo Tax and verified that the AGI was correct and efiled both returns again. Rejected again. I can see from your reply to another customer that I must now print and mail returns. That is not a problem but will the$25 I paid Turbo Tax to efile the State return be credited back to my Discover card? Certainly should be!
