You can claim her as your dependent under the Qualifying Relative rules if she meets all the requirements.
To be a Qualifying Relative -
1. The person cannot be your qualifying child or the qualifying child of any other taxpayer. A child is not the qualifying child of any other taxpayer if the child's parent (or any other person for whom the child is defined as a qualifying child) is not required to file an income tax return or files an income tax return only to get a refund on income tax withheld.
2. The person either (a) must be related to you or (b) must live with you all year as a member of your household.
3. The person's gross income for the year must be less than $4,400 (social security does not count) in 2022
4. You must provide more than half of the person's total support for the year.
5. The person must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S., Canada, or Mexico resident for some part of the year.
6. The person must not file a joint return with their spouse.

Yes.
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2022 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them. There may be other tax benefits you can get when you claim a dependent.
I’m confused abt the college. She fits all criteria but she has graduated from college. So does the scenario fit the relative and this we can claim her?

Since she is older then 23 being in college for education is not relevant. You should be able to claim her under the Qualifying Relative rules as posted.
I’m your reply, Re: relative What does it mean she can’t be my qualifying child? She is my husband (we are married and file jointly) and my daughter. Am I over reading it?
The rules for claiming a dependent is based on age and on relationship.
To claim a dependent under the Qualifying Child rules they must be under the age of 19. Or age 19 to 23 and a full time student.
Once they are age 24 or older they cannot be claimed as a dependent under the Qualifying Child rules, unless they are disabled. They can only be claimed as a dependent under the Qualifying Relative rules.
So then under the relative rule we can claim her because she had no income and we supported her 100% correct? I just feel I’m not completely understanding.

Correct.
Thank you!!
Sorry, one last question. Turbo tax “gave” us the $500 credit, we can’t take that can we? If that’s correct, how do I remove?
Yes you get $500 for Other Dependent credit.
Excellent!
