2022 Tax Rebate for HOV Autos

Hello What forms do I have to complete to get the tax credit for purchasing HOV Auto. I already checked online for federal and my car qualifies. I purchased it in Feb of 2022. I want to know if there is a form to fill out now or do I wait until 2022 tax season to show my purchase and apply for the credit.

Not to worry, all you have to do is enter the information about your car purchase when you prepare your 2022 taxes, and TurboTax will fill out Form 8936 and file it with your return for you!
