Help!
I filed my 2021 and keep getting letters saying they don’t have it. After speaking with them several times(I feel it’s because it’s a large refund) it’s several reasons why it’s getting kicked out…supposedly. Anyway in order to receive the stimulus it had to be filed by May 18th which it was,but the latest rep I spoke to told me to try and file electronically, but will it be considered as the file date of when I originally sent it in or the efile date which then I will lose the refund?

A 2021 tax return can only be printed and mailed using TurboTax.
The 2021 tax return for the Recovery Rebate Credit has to be filed on or before April 15, 2025.
To complete and file a 2021 tax return using TurboTax you would need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2021 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
Use a tracking service from the US Post Office when mailing the tax return so you get confirmation that it was received by the IRS.
You might want to go to a local tax provider who has software that allows a 2021 to be efiled.
