1099NEC form from Tenant rent program

My tenant applied for rent assistance and we were sent money for their unpaid rent. The company that paid us sent us a 1099 NEC for this amount. How do I report this rental income?

1099NEC form from Tenant rent program

Under Wages and income go to rental properties under rental income you will find how to add your form 1099-MISC.

Just make sure that you do not add it as cash or you will double that part of the rental income
