You can your balance due to the IRS with a check or money order or you can pay directly through the IRS Website here: https://www.irs.gov/payments.

You can check to see if a payment you made to the IRS has been credited by viewing your account on the IRS website:

https://www.irs.gov/payments/view-your-tax-account.  Click on the "Create or View Your Account" link.
