Qualified Tuition Program

Where does the taxable amount noted on this QTP Computation for distributions show in my 1040?  It does not seem to be included in income or in the tax calculation?

Qualified Tuition Program

If the entire amount is used for qualified education expenses, room and board, tuition, books, etc, then none of the 1099-Q will show up in your income.

If you had taxable 1099-Q income, it would go on line 4a of the other income statement, which goes to Sch 1, line 8.
