QBI

Hi,

 

I see a QBI deduction section in my tax profile. I don't have reits or ptps. The 1099A dividends I got from the tax forms in my brokerage show some numbers in 1099 A, but those are from mutual funds. And the earning is about 8$. Would that be counted as QBI as well?

QBI

Yes.  Income reported in box 5 of your 1099-DIV is qualified business income.
