Why can I not purchase a disk and install the software in my PC as I have done in the past.

Here's where to purchase a CD or download from TurboTax:

If you want the CD, then after clicking "Buy Now", on the popup look for a tiny blue link for the CD version.

You can also purchase CDs or downloads from reputable authorized online retailers, which are big well-known ones, such as Amazon, Staples, Office Depot, Newegg, etc.  But watch out for scam sites on the Internet with cheap deals that are pirated software or scams.

Local office supply stores (Staples/Office Depot/Frys, etc.), discount warehouses (Sams/Costco), electronic stores, etc. also sell CDs.

If you want Deluxe, be aware it comes in 2 versions--one that is Federal-only, and one that is a combo Federal and State version.  If purchased from TurboTax, it is the combo version.  If purchased elsewhere, you have to be careful as to which version you are buying.

The Basic Edition does not come with a state program and cannot import from ItsDeductible.
