Hi, @DianaMc ! I'm not sure I understand the question. Could you please say more?
Hi. I receive a paycheck every 2 weeks but they are not taking out my federal or local tax. I only work part-time and make about $400 gross every 2 weeks. I reside in Pennsylvania.

So sorry, I didn't see a notification that you had responded! Based on your income level, it sounds unlikely that you will owe income tax. In 2022 at least, a single filer did not pay taxes on the first $12,950 of income. Hope this helps!
What about local tax? They are not withholding any. I had to pay last year $120.
Honestly, I would just budget for that and pay it at the end of the year. No need to pay it before you have to!
Ok. Thank you.
@DianaMc More details and clarity would help here. You say that you are retired, but have not mentioned what income you are receiving ----are you getting Social Security? Receiving pension income? Taking money from a retirement account like an IRA or 401k? Are you having any tax withheld from the retirement income? Are you filing a joint return with a spouse or are you single?
Yes, retired and working part-time. I receive social security and have 10% tax taken out each check. Also receive a check each month out of my 401k and 10% tax taken out if that too.
Also I am single.
