out of state return

My husband worked in North Dakota, for some reason while working through ND state return, a K-1 is to get filled out. This makes no sense to me.

We do have a LLC and a k-1 was distributed to myself and my husband, is that why the ND form is bringing in a K-1?

Yes, if you had the K-1 for the LLC the North Dakota return just needs to verify that it is NOT ND income.
