Our federal return was rejected due to duplicate w2s. When I check, I see no duplicates. We have 2 that look similar, but are not the same. How do I fix this?

My husband and I occasionally work the same contract jobs, so will have w2s that have the same employer and same income, but our withholdings were different. Perhaps those are getting flagged? I see no actual duplicates.

It is possible they are being read as duplicates with the same employer information and wages.  Raise the wages (box 1) on one of the W2s by $1.
