Now keep getting notices my taxes need to be reviewed... do the review... loops back to needs review.

Print and mail your tax return if you have no income that is taxable on your Form 1040.  It's not required to be filed, but if you had any federal tax withholding you will want to file for a refund.

It may be happening if you have no other income besides social security.  A zero income tax form may not be accepted by the IRS through the e-file system.  You can use the Preview My 1040' to check your 1040 for any numbers in the far right column on your screen.

On the menu bar on the left that shows. 

                          

1. Select Tax Tools 
2. On the drop-down select Tools 
3. On the pop-up menu 
4. Select View Tax Summary 
5. On the left sidebar, select Preview my 1040 (scroll through your 1040 page 1 and 2).
