Number of e-files

Hi. I have successfully submitted 4 federal tax returns for myself & family members. I just went to submit an amended return for 1 of them, and TT is telling me that the I've reached the limit of 5. I thought an amended return did not count and even if it did, I've only submitted 4. I guess that I can physically mail the amended return but I was led to believe that it could be e-filed and that of course would be easier.

As for the 5 return limit, one of the original 4 was rejected and needed to be resubmitted since I had typed in the social security number incorrectly. That shouldn't count, right?

I actually said I'd help one more family member but it's looking like I can't. I am not looking to do anything that is not allowed, but it seems like this is a bug to me. Any workarounds?

Please reach out to TurboTax Customer Support as your issue would be best resolved with one-on-one support. Support will be able to take a look and determine how many e-filed returns you have used.
