Not allowed to enter earnings with decimals

I'm trying to enter earnings as they appear on my 1099R.  for example 84154.23  The system then changes it to 8415423.00

I've tried several times with the same outcome.

Not allowed to enter earnings with decimals

According to the IRS, amounts should be rounded to the nearest dollar by dropping amounts under 50 cents and increasing amounts from 50 to 99 cents to the next dollar. For example, $2.30 becomes $2 and $2.50 becomes $3. Withholding Adjustment

In your case, your amount should be rounded to $84,154.

@Andie Gator

Also....you might have hit the comma key instead of the decimal point before the cents.

So you thought you entered 84k, and it showed up as 8.4million.

If it still isn't goin g in properly, make sure your computer is not set to some European number formatting. Some of those EU country's invert what the USA software uses for the commas and decimal points.   Not sure if the software can figure that kind of full computer set inversion.
