I live in Ohio my 17 daughter who I claimed as a depend only earned 1200.00 last year does she need to file taxes?

She would only file to get back any tax withheld or if her income was self employment.

No, she does not have to file a return is she does not want to. If she wants to file to get back what she paid in she can.
