After installing an update, it says "continue" or "restarting", but then closes.
I always have to launch the program again manually.
This problem has persisted for several years.
It is a small thing, but can this be fixed?
[Note that I have been using TurboTax Deluxe on Windows 7.]

It probably can be fixed but it appears doubtful it will be since users (including SuperUsers) have been requesting a fix for this issue for quite a few years.
Yes, this is a very aggravating issue, since it would seem relatively simple to fix. I have also been experiencing it for years. It's gotten to the point where when the screen says 'We'll restart in a minute' I talk back and say 'I bet you won't...' What is especially aggravating is that when I restart it manually, the app will often suggest AGAIN that I search for updates.
