No form 8801 for AMT credit carryforward

I have an AMT credit carryforward from 2021 and turbotax will not allow me to include a Form 8801 to carry this through to the next year. When I try to run "Credit for AMT Paid in Prior Year", it says "It turns out you don't qualify for this credit".

I am using Turbo Tax Online and have already paid for it. I only noticed this was an issue when I looked through the forms and saw 8801 was missing.

How do I get this fixed?

Ok, I fixed it! I had to go to Delete Forms under Tax Tools. There was a Form 8801 in there (even though it wasn't showing up in my tax return). I deleted it. It appears to have regenerated it and fixed whatever bug it got itself into.

Now it is correctly generating a Form 8801 and I can carryforward my 2021 credit to 2023. Now I won't have to file by mail and manually include a Form 8801.

Can you clarify if you indicated that you had a 2021 8801 or 6251?

Yes, my 2021 return had both an 8801 and a 6251. Line 26 has an amount that is a Credit carryforward to 2022.

I'm in the AMT for 2022, but I need the past credit to carryforward to 2023. This should be included on an 8801 for 2022. Unfortunately I'm getting "It turns out you don't qualify for this credit" and it doesn't give me the options like you have in your screenshot. Is your screenshot from TT online or the desktop version?
