I just like 29 million other Americans have yet to receive my Federal Return. I filed and it was accepted 2/23. The terms of filing state that once you receive funding from the IRS you will send MY RETURN to my bank account. However, I received an email last week stating TURBO TAX WILL BE debiting my account for the amount “due.” Reason being the IRS EITHER HASN’T SENT FUNDS or REDUCED funds. How is that acceptable? How is your company able to debit payment for a service that hasn’t been rendered in its entirety? If you along with other tax providers are aware of the delay and I have not received my refund; WHY ARE YOU GOING TO DEBIT MY ACCOUNT! Those were not the terms, and you all would be a fraudulent business if you debit my account and I like plenty others have not even RECEIVED their returns. Very disgusted with your service.

TURBOTAX TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT
Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund? Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive? Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account. TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.

Turbo Tax says......
We understand that these are unprecedented times and we’re committed to helping our customers who are experiencing hardships. If you’re in need of assistance, call us by the Tuesday prior to your debit date at 1-888-808-1723 to speak with a trained specialist and mention “auto-debit”, or visit TurboTax Support.
Yes I did opt for that under the condition I would actually received my return. I only owe them for the processing & filing which is $80. But TT said they would take it once they receive pmt; when I called last week. Now I received an email which states were going to take it regardless.
