How can I go back and add California to my 2019 taxes?

TurboTax no longer supports tax year 2019.

If the tax return is filed with a tax refund, the refund will not be paid.  The 2019 return had to be filed on or before July 17, 2023 to be eligible for a tax refund.

If taxes are owed then you need to file the 2019 return since penalties and interest will continue to accrue until the taxes are paid.  You need to seek out a local tax professional to assist you in completing the 2019 tax return.
