Need help answering this question

“ If you did, you may qualify for the retirement savings contribution credit (also known as the saver’s credit).” Does a 401k qualify and if so how do I find how much I paid into it?

Yes, a 401(k) contribution would qualify (see Retirement Savings Contribution Credit (Saver’s Credit) for more information) and it would be listed on your Form W2 in box 12 with a code D.  However, TurboTax will automatically pull this amount from your W2 when it is coded property with a code D into the Savers Credit section of TurboTax, so don't enter it again.  TurboTax will warn you of this when going through those screens.
