No, the only way you can deduct the self employment expenses is by upgrading to TurboTax Self-Employed (Online) or TurboTax Home & Business (desktop).

To be deductible, a business expense must be both ordinary and necessary.

Work-related expenses reduce your taxes by lowering the amount of self-employment income you get taxed on.
