Maybe, depends what OS you are on.  Some people have seen this type of error on Mac OS 15 Sequoia due to issues with keychain/passwords and old versions, so sometimes the internet error is just a default for some other problem when TTX is trying to talk to the mothership.  On Windows 10 folks have had issues if they are not running it with admin rights.
