Also, No above-the-line charitable deductions. During COVID, taxpayers could take up to a $600 charitable donation tax deduction on their tax returns. However, in 2022, those who take a standard deduction may not take an above-the-line deduction for charitable donations.

You might have gotten the Recovery Rebate Credit (for the 3rd Stimulus payment) on your 2021 return. That could have been 2800. Check 1040 line 30. In fact compare 2022 and 2021 line by line and see what's different.
Thanks for the help. I figured it out--about a third of my income last year was categorized as capital gain and taxed at about 9% less. Wow, tax laws have really gotten difficult. Glad Turbotax knows what's going on.🙃
