My tax return usually includes $1000 for being an independent full-time college student with low income, but I am unsure why this year I am not receiving this. Any clue?

There is no special $1000 credit or payment for a college student. You can get education credit if you qualify. Is that what you are referring to?

I believe so!  A live agent helped me last year, I just don't know how to get it myself! I cannot afford another live agent to do taxes this year
