My tax refund from last year hasn't been processed yet. Extension after extension. No word from the IRS

I filed an amended return and still get a refund back but it hasn't been processed

Not sure what you mean when you say "extension after extension."   You say that you amended your return.  You are not supposed to send in an amended return until you original return has been fully processed.   If you got impatient and thought that sending in an amended return would speed them up and get them to process your original return, that could have had the opposite effect of just confusing the IRS and causing longer delays.

TurboTax gets no information from the IRS after you file your tax return.   Only the IRS can tell you what is happening with your refund.
