Well mine is "wrong" because they went off the 2018 return instead of 2019 and in the 2019 I had a dependent. 2018 was the only year I did not. So basically neither the mother or myself got the additional 500 for the stimulus.
Mine too. Filed joint as married couple since we just got married 2019 first time to file joint. but got 1200 its should be 2400. What now?
If she turns 17 in 2019, then no she doesn’t qualify for the $500
We had a similar issue:
Just e-filed 2019 taxes (1 week ago). Adjusted gross income was significantly less in 2019 than 2018 because we had a baby and I wasn't working. Our stimulus payment seems to have been calculated based on 2018's Adjusted Gross Income and not 2019.
Also, did not include our 3 children (under age 17). We received about $1240 and it should have been more like $3600. Does anyone know if there will be other deposits? Or if you file your 2019, will the stimulus amount be changed?
My adjusted gross income is 186000 for married filing jointly and have 2 kids
so 36000 above the cutoff
So multiply 360x $5=1800
1200+1200+500+500=3400-1800=1600
Correct?
we got $334
Same, 2 kids and married filing jointly. $2900....
AGI is 186000 so
36000 above the cutoff
So multiply 360x $5=1800
1200+1200+500+500=3400-1800=1600
married 2 kids
Correct?
we got $334
My son’s Is wrong similar to yours. His AGI is about $71k and he got $776.45
Any new info I have two daughter 4 and 8 and didn’t get anything for them
Same for me, i just got 1.2K despite we filled jointly
My stimulus check is wrong. What now
My stimulus check is wrong. What now?
Us too. We were supposed to receive $3900.
According to my adjusted gross income of $68,000 and being head of household with one dependent I should be receiving $1700. I received $1200 only.
What so I do now?
We are MFJ with 3 dependants and I received 1200, our AGI for 2019 was 76400 (combined) - according to IRS, it should have been $3900. I have no idea what to do now.
