This rejection can occur if you mistype your employer's name or EIN when you manually entered your W-2. It can also happen if your W-2 is incorrect or if your employer's info in the IRS database is wrong. For instructions on how to correct this, please click the link below.

Good afternoon i even had an expert help me and it still got rejected. So because that was my 5th time having it rejected I’m just going to have someone file it for me.

Unfortunately, your only option may be to print and mail in your return.
