My mom passed away last year. I do we use the ein number as her social security number is not longer good?

the EIN does not fit into the SSN field properly on the 1040.  What do we do?

My mom passed away last year. I do we use the ein number as her social security number is not longer good?

We are sorry to hear about your mom.

You would use her social security number on her final return.

Even though she has passed, the number is still good.
