First, I would like to express my condolences on the passing of your mother.

Yes, you can file your Mother's taxes who passed away in October 2018.  You will need to set up a separate account for your Mother's Tax return. 

As you start the TurboTax interview, under the Personal Information section,  you should choose "I'm preparing this return for ______ who is deceased".  Next, you should enter the date of death. From here you can prepare her return as you normally would.

My entry on Personal Information.  shows 'I'm preparing this return for Antonette who has "Passed Away" Recommended Answer 1 of "Passed" away. days ago Jan 25 19 from Turbo Tax shows  "Deceased" instead Why was there no date of death entered  where it showed  "I Passed" away.
 "From here you can prepare her return as you normally would"
 This tells me " "Vicky".08" has been continuely/every year. doing her Mother's taxes./Returns

Can this also be completed with the Home & Business edition?
