When I finalized my e-filing, it was 5 minutes past midnight and I'm worried what the consequences will be? No taxes owed and I do have a refund. What will happen since I was 5 minutes late?

No, there will be no penalty if you are getting a refund.  All penalties are related to unpaid taxes due, so there is no penalty for your situation
