My boss says that ADP listed my W-4 as exempt from federal taxes and I don't need to file it. I was withheld MA and SSN taxes tho. with box 1&2 empty,it's not let me file

Why are you exempt? Are you a US Citizen or US Resident or a US Non-resident? is the payment for Difficulty of Care?

In general, box 1 should have your wages even if they are less than $14,600?
