My 1040 is not being filled out so turbo tax wont let me file electronically, anyone else have this issue?

What do you mean when you say the 1040 is not being filled out?   What have you entered so far?  Have you entered taxable income?

I have entered all my information and typically my 1040 is autofilled with the info I enter but it seems like there is a glitch with TurboTax and this is not happening. I have another friend who this is happening to as well...

Yes, my friend called and they were not able to resolve the issue, just reported to tech support so not super helpful. I live abroad so I don't have the ability to call internationally. Just trying to resolve it through here instead of having to file by mail.

I use the Turbo Tax on my desktop.   If you are using the online form, my answer might not make any sense. 

Did you use review future when you are ready to file.  This will tell you what's missing.  Enter all missing information.  That should do it.

Yes and when I do the review it tells me my 1040 is blank but theres no way to fill it out as I can't find the form. In the past it has been autofilled when I in put all my information.

What kind of income did you enter?  If you only get SS or SSDI it is not taxable and you don't have to file a return.  And you can't efile with no taxable income.  

Or you might be in the wrong online account?  It's common to end up with multiple accounts. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used

My income is not taxable as I live and work abroad (Bona Fide Resident status) but I do still need to file. It is my account and I can see all my history of successful filings. I'm pretty sure its a glitch on turbo taxes end.

If you  have not entered any taxable income you cannot e-file.  That happens to users who are in the U.S. too --unless you enter taxable income you cannot e-file.  One trick the IRS allows is to enter $1 of "fake" interest as taxable income, and it will let you e-file.  See if that helps you.

No that is not new.  Without some kind of taxable income entered you cannot e-file.

That's odd, I have e-filed the exact same way for the last 5 years...
