Hello,
This summer I worked in NY. When I was hired I lived in Massachusetts, so they used my Massachusetts address for my W2. This is why I have 2 states in w2. When I input the file on Turbotax, it include only the Massachusetts state ( I earned nothing in Massachusetts, but it inputs the amount I gained in NY) . I don't understand if I should also include in the income section the NY part and what I should input; should I change 0 in MA? Box 16 - state tax is what I am referring to!

You should enter the W-2 exactly as it is without changing anything because the IRS will match the W-2 with your tax return. Any changes in state income allocations can be handled on the state returns.
To clarify: what state or states did you live in during 2025?
You will need to file a New York tax return for the wages earned while working in New York, but where you lived while working in NY and where you lived during the rest of the year will determine which state tax returns you need to file.
If you lived in Massachusetts at any point during 2025, you may need to file a resident or part-year MA return. If your W-2 mistakenly withheld MA income or if it will be double taxed by NY and MA, that can be taken care of on the MA return.
Take a look at the My Info area in TurboTax to make sure that you have answered the questions correctly about your residency in 2025 and money earned in other states. That will help generate the correct state tax returns for you to file.
See this TurboTax article about filing returns in multiple states for more information.
