On the IRS instruction sheet for form 709 it says "Do not file more than one Form 709 for any 1 calendar year."
In Schedule A where I list the Donee, there's only room for one person.
I have four people that I gave over $15000 to each, so I know I have to fill it out the form, but how am I meant to do get all four people on the single form? Do I print multiple schedule As? Or is the IRS site not descriptive enough and it just means "more than one per person"?

If you need more space, attach a separate sheet using the same format as Schedule A.

Alrighty. It says "If more space is needed, attach additional statements. So just print multiple Schedule As?

Yes, no reason you cannot simply do that and attach it to your return.
Excellent, thank you.
Sorry, one last follow-up: Does the IRS notify me if they've successfully received 709?

They do not. Obviously, you should retain copies and also proof of mailing/delivery.
