Multiple 1095a Forms and Schedule C Forms

My wife and I have separate 1095a and Schedule C forms.  We are also eligible for the health insurance premium credits due to having received Pandemic Unemployment Insurance in 2021.

I have everything entered but when I do the smart review it takes me to the Qualified Business Income Deduction Worksheet, line 5a, and asks for an allocation.  When I fill in the amounts for the wife and I on the blanks for each Schedule C and then run smartcheck again it still shows an error.  The entry box gives this warning:

"SE health insurance ded. requires an entry to allocate the portion of SE health insurance  deduction that should be allocated to this business.  When multiple 1095a are present and linked to different businesses, this calculation isn’t supported by the program."

I'm doing the calculation for it, but even if I fill in zero or some number that is too low I still get an error.

Multiple 1095a Forms and Schedule C Forms

There was an answer in another thread I started, as follows:

To correct this so you can e-file your return, you need to uncheck the I'm self-employed and bought a Marketplace plan box for each 1095-A you entered.

To get to this box in TurboTax Home & Business you can follow these steps:

  1. Within your return use the magnifying glass icon to search 1095a and click the Jump to link that appears in the results
  2. Click Continue through the question and Edit for the first 1095-A shown on the next screen
  3. Click Continue through the amount entry
  4. Uncheck the I'm self-employed and bought a Marketplace plan box and click Continue
  5. Do the same for the other 1095-A
  6. You can then go straight to the Smart Check by clicking it on the sub-menu at the top of the screen

These aren't the best instructions, but the key is unchecking that "I'm self-employed" box.

To clarify

are you entering the amount for Self-employment Health Insurance under "Insurance Payments" in Business Expenses for each business or on the error screen?

Yes, I believe so.  When doing the final review it pops up two errors, one on each Schedule C for the Qualified Business Worksheet, question 5a, "SE heath insurance ded."  It is blank, but filling in the correct numbers will then still show an error on the next review.

It's impossible to "override" that field to avoid the error showing up, which makes it impossible to e-file.

I am having the exact same issue.  Did you ever get yours resolved? Looks like Turbotax never responded again.

I am having the same issue.  It just gets stuck in a loop.  "Schedule C: SE health insurance ded. requires an entry to allocate the portion of the self employed health insurance deduction that should be allocated to this business. When multiple Form 1095As are present and linked to different businesses, this calculation isn't supported by the program."  How do I proceed? Last year I did not have this issue.
