Yesterday I was told my order for the 5 day early deposit could not be completed. I have my 846 and WMR also says refund sent. My DD 2-24 and I bank with discover bank. Okay well after calling in a few times I still never got any clarification on the matter. Basically I just wanted to know since new river bank or w/e they are called the bank that would have taken the $25 fee for 5 day early deposit since they could not deposit it early, I wanted where did my funds get sent back to? I know it was not Santa Barbara because aside from the $25 early deposit fee I paid all fees upfront, so where did my fund bounce back to??? Now here is the other concern as of an hour ago, under my receipt like where it shows what I paid to file my taxes through TT it is acting like there is no history or receipt now! Up until an hour ago I was able to see my fees I paid to turbo tax $83 as well as the $25 which of course said pending since it could not be completed …..

You can review your fees using the instructions below to find out what fees you were charged. You can follow the instructions in this article to remove any unwanted Fees Why am I being charged for TurboTax Free Edition?
If you elected to receive your refund 5 day early, you should receive it 5 days earlier than the date you see on Where's My Refund. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund. Due to the PATH Act, the IRS is required to hold refunds for customers with the CTC and EITC until March 3.
Once your return is accepted, you can use this link to check the status of your refund. Where’s My Refund?
Once the IRS processes your tax return and provides an issue date for the refund on the IRS refund site, you will count back five days from that date.
If you do not receive your refund five days earlier than the date on the IRS refund site, you will not be charged the $25 fee..

Hello thank you for responding, but I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but the part where you’re saying they hold refunds until March 3 for people on path is very incorrect. As thousands of people who were on path already got their funds in their bank yesterday and many of us who got our 846 code as well as WMR did update already to funds being sent. I do apologize, but it concerns me a little bit to take advice from somebody who’s giving me an incorrect date. Also the instructions that were given to me to find my receipt for the fees. I paid the TurboTax, which, as I mentioned earlier was showing on my dashboard until a couple of hours ago when it just randomly disappeared, those steps you gave me does not show me my receipt. I am still seeing the message that I have no records, but thank you for Attempting to answer my question. This is exactly why I will never use TurboTax again because the answers from the tax specialist are completely all over the place. Some of them might be right, but most of them are being made up and that’s a real shame
If the deposit can't be made into the bank account, it typically reverts to a check to be sent to the address on file.
I don’t have an answer, I am searching for the same answer. Just noticed on my TT account that the order details are missing. What in the world is going on with TT. I’m Hoping that means that maybe it has been sent to the cross river bank and is getting processed. 🤷🏼♀️
Same here guys all day up until an hour ago wheneverrr I went on there I was always able to check to see just in case they wanted to send it to me early. I was just seeing if the 25 was refunded or completed either way I no longer can see the receipt at all and to tell me I don’t have one after I know I seen it all day is crazyyy I hope that would be their way of updating or they’re sending something because there’s no way of receipt just disappears like that
Any update on why this happened?
So you mean since TT told me they could do a 5-day early deposit, then for w/e reason could not honor it, I do not know why because I called my bank and went over all of the requirements with them, and they said it should have been able to deposit, but you are telling me that I have to wait on a check from the IRS? I am going to get legal advice if that’s the case. There are so many people right now in my situation. I am sure lots of them would sign a petition. I spoke to Cross River Bank yesterday, they even said this has been a mess and it has caused a lot of issues. Also, is the fact my order receipt is missing? Thank goodness I am smart and saved everything when I filed on the 7th but this is absurd.
I will never use TT tax again. I have been sick for two days worrying where my money was sent to since they could not expedite the deposit. The scary thing is no one can tell me or most of us any thing.
Is Where's My Refund telling you they are sending your refund by check or why do you think that is how your refund is coming?
My WMR does not show anything about a check. It actually says that my refund is being scheduled to be sent to my bank by the 24th. However, your agents there at TurboTax are the ones telling lots of people that if we paid our fees upfront our refund after being declined for five day early deposit would have to be sent via paper check from the third-party bank Cross River. As for the people who opted to have their fees taken out of their refund, they are being told, their funds were sent to Santa Barbara after the declined service and they can expect to see their refunds by the direct deposit date in their bank account. So, I feel as though this information should have been put into the terms and agreements for the early deposit section. Had I known there was a chance I’d have to wait on a paper check by paying my fees upfront and getting declined for it, I never would have opted into that service.
The IRS will convert your refund to a mailed check if the bank used for Direct Deposit rejects the deposit. This usually happens if the name on the refund is not the name on the bank account or the account doesn't exist.
That is not your case though. For whatever reason, your 5 Days Early was declined. There is a few reasons why that might happen.
Regardless, this should not effect the delivery of your refund to your selected account when you filed. I would expect you to receive your refund on the 24th by direct deposit.
OK so my question would be I’ve called the offset line several times and it’s not saying I have anything, where is my refund does not indicate that an adjustment was made, is there another way I can find out if that is the case, if I call the IRS, would they be able to tell me what they actually sent because I’m a bit concerned now about a possible offset as the other two reasons would not add up because my bank does do early deposits/real time deposits. I don’t expect to have any offsets but would like to know.
The offset hotline is the best way to find out. The reasons I mentioned above are not all inclusive. I don't know what the other reasons could be, but those are the only ones we know about. I wouldn't panic. I know it's hard to wait, but there isn't anything you can do except wait until the 24th.
Omg im.in the same situation same.exact sbtpg don't have an account opt to 5 days early said I won't b getting it cause path
. Where my money ddd 2/24 never again with tt
