Now it's not going to be available until March 31 and not available for E filing.
That is for the Form 1116 Sch B, Foreign Tax Carryover Reconciliation Schedule
The Form 1116, Foreign Tax Credit is still showing available on 03/03/2022
The link says 03/03/2022 now!
Link now says form 1116 is available March 3, 2022 ....
I am reminded of the guy hiding in the jungle in SE Asia, who one day, many decades later, learned that the war had ended.
The link has been saying 3/3 for the past weeks

May be. I read the "best answer" and it still says 02/27.
Turbo tax is garbage software. 2021 is my last year with turbo tax.
People here are saying that 1116 will hopefully be available by 3/3 and I was more of less ok with that. Now it seems there is a 1116 schedule B which will be available by 3/31. I understand that if you have a value on 1116 line 10 then you need that schedule. Is that correct? If it is, it changes the game a lot for me. Thank you .
What is going on turbotax?
I checked today and Turbotax is no longer providing a date as to when form 1116 will be available. I guess I'll check back in a week.
This is outrageous. The 1116 tax form missing from TurboTax. Complete fail. TurboTax is an immensely profitable company, it costs them almost nothing to sell the tax return service to me for $108, pretty much pure/all profit. And to then not provide a common form such as the 1116 in a timely manner.
And the 1116 TOTAL FAIL is one of so many
deficiencies in TurboTax.
What a rip off.
Turbotax is hiding because they suck.
Well, it is February 26 and it still is not available.
And, TT says I don't need the form, yet I still need it to file? I am confused.
My son had a foreign tax credit of less than 50 dollars and was able to efile and it was accepted by the IRS. I think you only need an 1116 if you have a carryover or the amount is over $300 for a single filer or $600 for a married couple. I will try to push through with efile since I don't need an 1116 and since my son was able to do it.
I paid TurboTax for ALL the tax forms, not just some of the tax forms.
What a rip off.
I’d welcome a refund from TurboTax so I can head over to H & R Block.
I am sure the TurboTax terms and conditions specifies no refunds even when TurboTax is a failure, inept and does not deliver the basic tax forms. I am sure their lawyers provided for them to be a failure without consequences.
