message states software must be updated before transmitting return

I am ready to transmit my return (2019 Premiere) and when I click on "transmit return now" a message box comes up stating, "There is an update available for your version of TurboTax. Before you can file electronically, you'll need to get this update. To do this, go to the Online menu and select Check for Updates". When I do this, I get this message "Your software is up to date". I repeat the process with the same results each time. I'm in an endless loop. Any ideas?
