Charles Schwab not importing data to TurboTax

This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I can't tell you not how many hours I've spent trying to import my documents. It makes no sense that they're not available to import when they're available via PDF and on the website. Then, even after waiting until February 14th when they were claimed to have been available for import, the import fails.. and repeatedly 😪😭

Correct, but it didn't work on February 14th, 15th or 16th either!! Ugh

When importing one of the steps required was to log into intuit account. While logged into intuit.com I have a menu bar on the left. One is called Documents and that is where I see all my schwab tax files I downloaded but were not imported.

However, after reading other posts I finally fixed my import problem. I had to disable "Brave Shields" for the popup browser. After disabling the security I was able to import. I know I did not have to do that last year.

THANK YOU!!! Even though I am sorry for the time you are spending on things you shouldn't need to repeat, you allowed me to feel as if I am part of a team who is also experiencing this crap. What a waste of time for all of us:(

I have such difficult to import the forms from Charlse Chewab, totally not expect this

SOLUTION: Make sure you are using a default browser of EDGE/CHROME for WINDOWS. There was an issue with using other browsers in Wins with popups and redirect. PopUp works fine but the redirect back to TT was stuck. 

Used these two browser and import worked!

My Schwab account says my 1099 will be ready by Feb. 28.  The pdf is there, but I'm going to wait for the download to become available.

Yes, I saw the PDF is available there, but when I went to TurboTax, it still cannot be imported!!! It's Feb 25 already, I think it should be ready in a couple of days. The deadline is Feb 28.

you can not import from a PDF.  Schwab prepares a special file for import into Turbotax. that may not be ready. contact Schwab to check.

I can import my 1099-INT and DIV that I have from another account on Schwab that was listed as available for import on 2-14. But TT will not import the 1099-INT and DIV for another account I have with Schwab that states it is available for import on 2-28-2025, even though this 1099-INT and DIV just became available on 2-25 on Schwab's website. So I conclude you are correct in that whatever file TT needs will be available from Schwab on or before 2-28.

Thanks, but I waited until February 14, which is the exact date they said it would be ready. I tried again for days and still no go! I think they are aware of it. Still, very disappointed. It took me so much more time to do the returns.
