Hello,
my 2024 taxes are done but I haven't e-filed yet. I am using TT Premier purchased at Amazon.
I want to save my 2024 as a PDF and print it to review (without e-filing yet), and also do a Save As to save the 2024 return as a new version to test 2025 with.
Can I do this without any issues? I do not want to lose what I've entered for 2024.

If you are using the desktop download that you purchased from amazon, the tax file is on your own hard drive. You can look at it all you want---you can switch to forms mode or you can print it before you e-file if you want to.
But....let's make sure you are really using desktop and did not stray into online by mistake.
We see people get confused and they keep logging in to online software which will require them to pay at the end. You need to use the desktop software. One way to tell if you are using the right software---your tool bar. Online software has the toolbar in a black vertical column on the left side of the screen. Desktop software has the tools up on the top of your TT screen.
Are you using the download? Or do you need help to switch to the download?
Hi Xmasbaby,
I believe I am using the download - see snapshot:
Thanks...
Please see this link for guidance on printing your return before filing.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, first I suggest updating your program to make sure everything is up to date.
This can be done by logging into your desktop product. Select Online in the menu on the top, and then select Check for Updates.
Once you have done that, select File from the main menu, and scroll down to select print.
Another box will pop up and allow you to select the forms you'd like to print. Make your selection as it applies to what you would like to print out. You have several options such as all forms required for filing or just specific forms.
