Same issue. Takes 10+ minutes to load the initial Tax Form. It works well after it finally gets loaded. I have the latest version of TurboTax 2020 (I update it every time an update comes out) and the latest version of Big Sur 11.2.1. For some reason I keep buying TurboTax. It just get worse and worse every year. This will be my last year. I pray I can struggle through this year. What a shame, It used to be a great product.
It worked until it didn't.
As I stated in my earlier post, I went through the process of removing TT2020 from my iMac, reinstalled TT and then it worked. It worked for a day, then I got the "we hit a snag" message (again), the program quit and would not reopen. I went through the removal process again, reinstalled TT and it will not open. TT needs to tell its customers about this UPFRONT. The program works on my MacBook running Catalina, but forget it with Big Sur.
Trust me. Forget it.

The exact thing happened to me today - I wish I had sent my return yesterday when it worked - I freakin' give up on TT forever. I saved my return but it will not open and after spending several hours on the return I am livid and pissed off beyond! How do they refund you your precious time?
No refund yet. Turbotax customer service leaves ample room for improvement. I received an email from Turbotax Help Team asking me to "Please take a moment to provide feedback on your experience by answering the questions in the attached [survey]." I checked status on the refund request that I submitted online a week ago; it only says the case is closed. No mention of whether the refund request was approved or not approved. I have no idea whether TT intends to honor their money back guarantee or just stick me with a product that will not run on my Mac.

TURBO TAX NEEDS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT
When I launched the app today there was an update. After that the app launches like it should; no waiting 5 minutes for it to come up.
I also updated to Big Sur 11.2.1 a couple days ago so maybe it was that but I'm betting it was the TurboTax update.
