Hello, I am a gig economy worker and I want to get a mortgage for my first property in January 2023. How should I file my taxes so that I qualify for an FHA loan?
Side note: this year when I applied for a FHA loan I was turned down because my tax return showed I didn’t make any income because of too many write offs.

Hello there!
When you file your tax return, you should declare all your income from all sources, and claim all the deductions (write-offs) you are entitled to.
Find another lender. One who can read a tax return and see how much money you have to pay the loan. The amount of discretionary income you have is not a line item in a tax return.
