Live tax advice seems to be yet another TurboTax customer service failure. Asked for live advice, said it would be 30 minutes to receive a call back. Got this call, started the discussion, agent disconnected and session ended. Tried to immediately call back, was put on indefinite hold. While on hold requested another call through Turbotax, response was they would call back in about 35 minutes. Got a call back in about 35 minutes, was disconnected 3 minutes into the call. Tried a third time, 30 minute wait, connected with Linda B - she was great, we managed to stay connected and solved the problem (though the root cause was a long standing problem entering a 1099-G that has information in box 6, TurboTax has no provisions for a form with a box 6, but Turbotax doesn't fix problems).
Got the return finished, have one error that I am not sure how to resolve. Called this AM for support, said I would receive a call in 5 minutes - no call came. 30 minutes later I requested another call, said I would receive a call in 5 minutes - no call was received. Waited an hour, requested a call, Turbotax said I would receive a call in 6 minutes - 32 minutes later no call received. How does one contact Turbotax and actually use the service I paid for>
