    What are you trying to do?   And are you using one of the Live online software versions---or CD/download?   "Chatting" is only featured as part of the online Live software.

    I only need to file and pay. . . I already paid for your service. . . how do I get my taxes back and pay them? This is not a user friendly site and I'm very frustrated. I would like a live chat so I can get this done, thanks

    I entered info wrong during 2020 filing by accident put 96$ instead of 896$ can you fix please

    @Swift201819 No.   No one has access to your tax return or to your account.   No one can fix your mistake(s) for you.   If you already e-filed the return with incorrect information then you have to wait for the IRS to fully process your return and then YOU have to prepare and file an amended return to fix your mistake.

     

    Did you e-file?   Was the return accepted?

     

    When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

     

    First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

    @DRob1101 We do not know what you mean by an adjusted amount.   If the IRS changed your refund only the IRS can tell you why.   TurboTax does not get any information at all from the IRS after you file your tax return, so no one at TurboTax knows what was changed or adjusted.

     

    However, many people made mistakes with the recovery rebate credit so that is one possibility.   The IRS caught lots of mistakes made by users and adjusted the recovery rebate credit that was on line 30 of Form 1040.  Did the IRS send you a letter about the adjustment?

     

    If you receive a reduced refund for any reason, a few weeks later you will receive a letter from the IRS explaining why they changed your refund.

     

    TurboTax would not call you about it since TurboTax would not even know.

    What is the rejection code and rejection message you received on the TurboTax email for the rejected tax return?

    I bought two turbotax programs at Costco. I installed the first one and submitted tax return. However, I can't installed the second one with different license code on the same computer. Please help me.

    It's the same program so you can't install it twice.  You need to uninstall the first instance of TurboTax and then you can install the second copy.
