Led bulbs (total cost $12,000) that I install and I'm paid by contractor for (included in my income). I made less than $100,00 gross. Supplies or inventory?

I have to buy items such as bulbs, shower heads, etc.. after I install them in customers home, I invoice contractor for work and items installed. Where do I put the expense of those items, supplies or inventory?
