Kansas City Earnings Tax Form Account ID
The account number for the RD109NR is apparently a number set up by the city on their end once a person begins to file earnings tax returns (which only has meaning in their system). Most people (unless they have some kind of issue requiring extra correspondence with the city) don’t even know their number, and don’t need it. You can file your RD109NR with just your name, address, Social Security number, and tax year at the top of that page. (That’s all that’s mentioned in the instructions too.)
I’ve filed a few of those without that number down through the years, and just called the city to make sure I wasn’t skipping anything important (after seeing your question here — thanks for the learning experience, @jcbasket!).
